Gravity Day event postponed
The Gravity Day event, scheduled to be held at the heart of the Paradiski area, will not after all be held on Thursday 29 January 2009, for administrative reasons. The change of date is entirely beyond the control of the organizer 7 LK, which hopes to organize the Gravity Day later this winter.
Starting on Thursday 29 January, Gravity Day was all set to welcome the world's top performers in the spectacular Base jumping discipline for a unique gravitational show, jumping from a height of 380 metres from the cabin of the Vanoise Express, the world's biggest cable car that connects the Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry massif to La Plagne (Paradiski area).
When the news came through that the event would have to be postponed all the base jumpers, who had already gathered at Paradiski, unanimously confirmed to the organizer 7 LK that they would keep an option open for the date to be chosen, between now and the end of the season in April. |
